We had commercial this week and we had an assignment to shoot glass. I went with Kelly, Calli and Josh to Pier 1 to find a product. While I was there I broke something (obviously). Anyways I spent $25 there and now have to go back and return it. I bought a glass that had a glass stirrer in it and also some square candy bowls. I did not really know how I was going to compose the shot but I figured I could make it work. I was partnered up with Andrei. He shot for the first two hours while I assisted. Then I zeroed out the large format and created my set. I was originally going to do the big glass with the stirrer but then I decided just to photograph the stirrer. I hung it from a boom stand with fishing wire. Dick came around and had a great idea and we re created my composition. Dick is one smart dude! Anyway, I didn't use my time wisely and ended up with only 30 min to shoot my black card shot. By the time I had it composed the way I wanted it I only had 5 minutes to shoot. Needless to say, my black card shot did not turn out that great. I plan on re-shooting it sometime soon, but not this week because I am so busy. Cassie is coming to visit tomorrow night and we are going to do a shoot. It should be fun! Then I have to do a speech on Thursday! ahhhh, my least favorite! Anyway, enjoy my glassware shots!
