My family!

I just love this photo so I put it up. I did not take it obviously I am in the photo. Photo credit goes to Diane Kadzik. Nice Work Diane. I have the best family in the world!

Maryann Antonacci

Maryann is one of the cutest older ladies I have ever met in my life. When I was told we needed to create a character study I knew right that instant that I wanted to shoot marion! She was amazing and we had a lot of fun! She is the best!

Mikey

So I thought it would be cool to do an environmental portrait of a homeless person. My cousin Mikey looks homeless so I asked him to pose for me. I really like the outcome but my one teacher says it looks way too staged and it looks like I am making fun of homeless people. I am not making fun of homeless people, I wouldn't do that. And now I feel like a jerk, but I still like the photos. I guess I just don't know the homeless enough to stage a realistic looking scene. Oh well . . . fail. But Mikey you look great!!! Here are the ones I edited

Brenna

Brenna and I shot last night in Gram's basement which has ceilings as tall as her so lighting was very difficult. I was able to come to school for 2 hours today and retouch one of my favorite shots. I hope I can get some more shots edited because some of these are really interesting and beautiful. Here is the one shot I had time for. . .

Break

So school ended around 3pm. I won a 2 head light kit a q flash and a mamiya lens. I wish I got a portable because I plan on doing a lot of location work. Oh well . . . I guess I can try to use the q flash and a strobe. Anyways, I am still at school at 10:03 and most likely will be here until 11pm when we close. I had to print prints for my family for Christmas, work on Grandparents slide show, edit wedding photos, and work on a clients PR shots. I only have a few more wedding shots to edit, I finished the PR work, I printed all the prints I needed and I am close to being done with the slideshow :) I have so much to do for school during break. I will be incredibly busy. My cousin Mikey is coming Sunday to pose in my enviromental portrait. He will be posing as a homeless man in the abandoned mill in Somers! I am going to Keene for Bess's birthday lunch tomorrow at 12. I can't wait to see my Seidler girls, I miss them. And. . . I will get to meet P's new man, Joel! I am leaving you with this picture of my friend David that I took! Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday!

More of Heather and Bryan's Wedding

Here are more edited shots from Bryan and Heather's wedding! I am really pleased with these. They make me smile :) If you want to see more shots of their wedding go to my other archives. I think I posted them about 4 posts ago! ENJOY!

Almost break yet so much to do

We have recently been focusing on retouching. It is so amazing how much you can change a person in photoshop. I really enjoy it! I still have to finish editing my wedding photos, create a blurb for my clients, create my grandparents slideshow, finish assignments that are due, shoot a client Thursday night for a PR shot, and get packed and organized to leave. We have also been working on creating a CD cover in InDesign. I really enjoy that too, but haven't had time to really focus on it. I wish I had these programs on my computer. Thursday, Anne is having a Holiday Dinner! Saturday I am going to Keene for Bess's birthday lunch, Sunday I am spending the day with Bridgette in Boston and Monday I am heading home. If I don't get a light kit for break I am going to be upset. Anyway, sorry about the lack of updates with photos, I have been too busy to blog.

Jenny

I went home this Saturday because I thought I was shooting Alyse and Jenny together, but Alyse bailed on me so Jen and I spent Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning shooting around somers! My battery pack died on Saturday which is why we ended up finishing on Sunday. It was freezing cold so Jen was a good sport. We shot at the mill, the corn field, some tire place and again at the mill. I was pretty happy with the outcome, but I think I could get better at angles and using available light. Here are a few of the pictures I have edited. Enjoy!
