Phase 1 review and weekend

Phase 1 review was Monday and it was a lot of fun. Three of my photos were critiqued (breaking up lines, outdoor portrait, and motion in picture). The outdoor portrait was the only one that did poorly. Pilar came Friday night and Saturday night. We had a good time! Basically stayed in and watched the computer. We did go to Portsmouth to take photos and China gourmet for some delicious food. Bridgette visited on Sunday and went to phase 1 review with me on Monday. We watched a good movie (conspiracy theory). Bridge was tired because she was up late the night before visiting Brent at Salisbury. I am posting my pictures from phase one review below this. The only one that I don't have to post at this time is my product shot. It was not good anyways.

Self Portrait - took me forever to take but it was the first photo done.

Breaking up lines - I had Sara sit in the middle of the road and run away every time a car came. Took us and hour to get the shot.

Indoor Flash - This was kind of a joke. This shot was so technical that it was hard to be creative so while P and I were out eating at China Gourmet we got some pictures with the sushi guys!

Outdoor Flash - Sara was a good model! This was in her backyard during Sunset!

Cool on Cool - Pilar and I bought that shirt and Urban and then returned it. She looks beautiful in this picture. I really like the crop on this one!

Warm on Cool - Ann against the beautiful blue sky. This was kind of an easy shot and cool angle.

Outdoor Portrait - I took this of Bess a while ago but it fit the assignment so I used it. It was critiqued and not liked because the light was too harsh. I wish I shot it over again but Bess looks beautiful.

Motion within Picture - This was fun to do. People stopped walking for us when we wanted them to walk by us in Northampton which was frusturating. We took about 100 of these shots. They are definitly cool!

Motion Stopped - This was fun! I really enjoy the shadow.
